(NASDAQ: SCHL), the global children’s publishing, education and media company, on Friday won 25 AEP Awards for its classroom and professional magazines, educational programs and professional development resources from the Association of Educational Publishers. The Association of Educational Publishers' annual awards program and its seal of excellence are widely recognized by educators, administrators, and parents as a mark of outstanding educational value.

The awards won by Scholastic included a Golden Lamp Award, the educational resource industry's top honor, for Scholastic DynaMath® Magazine, a Beacon Award for Scholastic's Census in Schools: It's About Us In-School program, and 23 Distinguished Achievement Awards in categories ranging from "Design" to "Editorial" to "Professional Development".

"We’re thrilled to have so many of our magazines and educational programs recognized by the education industry this year," said Hugh Roome, President of Scholastic Consumer and Professional Publishing. "For 90 years, the company has endeavored to create high levels of student engagement with magazine content that is extremely teachable in the classroom.
