NEW YORK, NY — (June 19, 2013) — Scholastic (NASDAQ: SCHL), the global children’s publishing, education and media company, was recognized with 21 AEP Awards for its classroom and professional magazines, educational programs and professional development resources from the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP). The Association of Educational Publishers' annual awards program recognizes high-quality learning resources and is acknowledged by educators, administrators, and parents nationwide as the most prestigious awards in the education industry.

Scholastic received a Golden Lamp Award, the educational resource industry's top honor, for Scholastic Action® Magazine, five Beacon Awards for Math Solutions®, and 15 Distinguished Achievement Awards in categories ranging from Design to Editorial to Professional Development.
