Revenues and Operating Income Up Versus Prior Year Driven by Children’s Books and Education

New York – July 20, 2016 – Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share on the Company’s Class A and Common Stock for the first quarter of fiscal 2017.  The dividend is payable on September 15, 2016 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on August 31, 2016.

Rowling’s Wizarding World), was published to benefit Comic Relief, a U.K.-based charity organization.
