QUBO Is Off to the Races with “Turbo Dogs”
New York, NY — July 21, 2008 — A funny cast of canine friends will help each other to the finish line this fall in Turbo Dogs, the new 3-D CGI animated series that is scheduled to premiere on qubo (www.qubo.com) on October 3rd and 4th, 2008. Dash, Mags, GT, Strut, Stinkbert and Clutch make up the fastest group of dogs in Racerville, and will take kids on an accelerated adventure filled with comedic high jinks, and fast racing action. Kids are sure to get caught up in the storylines and non-stop fun – but with the emphasis on friendship, fair play, and teamwork, they will also zoom away with some valuable rules of the road.
Based on award-winning author-illustrator Bob Kolar’s picture book, Racer Dogs, Turbo Dogs brings the unique world of Racerville to life via innovative 3-D animation and high-octane storylines. Scholastic Media has enjoyed a long history of bringing literacy rich programming for kids to television and is a perfect fit to deliver the program to qubo in the United States. qubo is the bilingual, multi-platform entertainment destination for children that focuses on literacy and values and celebrates the unlimited possibilities of a child’s imagination. A CCI Entertainment / Huhu Studios production, Turbo Dogs will air on the CBC in Canada.
