QED Named 2008 “Company of the Year” By Association of Educational Publishers
Denver, CO (May 19, 2008) — Quality Education Data® (QED®), the education market research and database firm, has been named the Association of Educational Publishers’ (AEP) “Company of the Year” for 2007.
QED, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scholastic, the global children’s publishing education and media company, was chosen for its leadership in the education industry and its continued commitment and dedication to AEP programming. QED was highlighted for hosting in 2007 the AEP education CEO Roundtable at Scholastic, continuing its sponsorship of the Beacon Awards for Excellence in Education Marketing, and working to develop industry-wide professional development.
“QED has helped support the work of AEP on multiple fronts, including the development of an industry-wide professional development council, active participation in AEP programs, and service to the board,” said Charlene Gaynor, executive director of AEP. “We congratulate QED on this recognition and on its tradition of service to the educational publishing industry.”
In the last year, QED has expanded its services by adding a Creative Services division, turning the company into a one-stop shop for education marketing needs. QED now has the resources to conduct market research, develop marketing strategy, tap into its databases to reach potential customers, design promotional materials and follow up with analysis, surveys and focus groups.
“We are so proud to be named the Company of the Year by the Association of Educational Publishers for 2007,” said Andy Lacy, president of QED. “It reflects our continued commitment to providing quality services and consulting and marketing solutions to the education industry. We’re thrilled to be recognized as a leader in the industry we serve.”
QED will be honored during the annual AEP Summit being held June 4-6, 2008 in Washington, DC. For more information on the AEP Summit, visit www.aepweb.org.
