New York, NY (August 3, 2016) -- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two script book, the eighth Harry Potter story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, published in the U.S. and Canada by Scholastic, hit bookstores nationwide at 12:01 a.m. on July 31, 2016. Retailer reports estimate that Scholastic has sold more than 2 million copies in North America in the first two days of sales, unprecedented for a script book.

New York – July 20, 2016 – Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share on the Company’s Class A and Common Stock for the first quarter of fiscal 2017. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2016 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on August 31, 2016.
