Scholastic Corporation Announces Fourth Quarter Dividend

New York – March 23, 2016 – Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share on the Company’s Class A and Common Stock for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2016. The dividend is payable on June 15, 2016 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 29, 2016.

(March 22, 2016 – Burbank, CA) – Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) announced today a slate of new publishing partners signed on to support Warner Bros. Pictures’ highly anticipated return to J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The big-screen adventure was written by J.K. Rowling and stars Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything). Licensing partners set to publish book programs inspired by the film and its sequels, include Scholastic, HarperCollins, and Insight Editions.

Ubisoft® and Scholastic Collaborate on New Young Adult Book Series "Last Descendants" Based On the Assassin's Creed® Universe

SAN FRANCISCO AND NEW YORK— February 18, 2016 —Ubisoft and Scholastic today announced a collaboration on a new young adult book series, Last Descendants, based on the hit video game franchise Assassin’s Creed. Written for readers ages 12 and up by award-winning author Matthew J. Kirby, the first book in the “Last Descendants” series will launch simultaneously in September 2016 in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The second book will follow in January 2017.
