Scholastic to Publish New Edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2017
Scholastic is pleased to announce the publication of a new edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2017. Publishing on March 14, 2017, the book will contain a new foreword from J.K. Rowling, a new cover design and original illustrations and doodles by J.K. Rowling throughout. Originally released in paperback by Scholastic in 2001, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by fictitious author Newt Scamander (a character from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World), was published to benefit Comic Relief, a U.K.-based charity organization.
